Quality Over Quantity

Let’s be serious…

If you're looking for the cheapest Merino wool option, Woolx isn't it. There are brands that will sell you a tee for $30 and leggings for $50. We can’t.

The women who shop with us aren't looking for cheap. They're looking for something they won't have to replace. Something that actually makes them feel good. Something worth the space in their closet.

If that's you, here's what you're paying for…

01

Our Clothes Outlast Everything Else in Your Closet

Let's be honest, you already own clothes that have pilled up after two washes. Sweaters that stretched out and sag. Leggings that went see-through after a year. Tees that faded and thinned until you quietly retired them.

I built Woolx so that doesn't happen. Our DuraLite fabric wraps ultra-fine Merino around a nylon and spandex core. Some people don’t like that but here’s how it works… the Merino gives you the softness and performance, the core gives you the structure, strength, and stretch to survive years of actual wear.

Our customers tell us this constantly. One wrote on Trustpilot: "I've been a happy Woolx customer for nearly 5 years now. Their products are well-made and sustainably sourced. All items I've purchased have held up well and look just as good after dozens of wears as they did when I purchased them." Another: "Still wearing the first pair I bought several years ago!" An independent gear reviewer tested our Merino and after a month of heavy wear and washing and wrote: "The fabric hasn't pilled, pulled, or stretched, and still looks as good as the day it arrived."

Do the math. A $100 tee you wear for years costs pennies a wear. That $30 tee you replace every season costs more over time. We are the cheaper option — it just doesn't look that way at checkout.

Every Piece Is Temperature-Regulating, Odor-Resistant, and Wrinkle-Resistant

Not just the tees. The leggings. The dresses. The hoodies. The base layers. The socks. Every single piece we make.

Merino wool has properties no other fabric can match. In the warmer months merino actually helps your body stay cool when it's hot. Crazy that wool helps keep you cool, right? And, yes our tees even work in the humidity, the more humid the weather the better these babies perform! The same top works for a chilly morning walk and a warm afternoon lunch. It resists odor at the fiber level, which means you can wear our pieces multiple times between washes and they still smell fresh. Our pieces also resist wrinkles, which means you can pull it out of a suitcase or your closet and look polished. No irons needed.

Let’s be honest… you have better things to do than worry about your clothes. You have a calendar full of commitments, a mountain to hike, a vacation to enjoy, and yoga class to conquer!

We Use Top Tier Ultra-Fine Australian Merino and We REFUSE to Compromise On Our Merino

If you’re anything like me, you feel every piece of clothing when you’re walking through a store. If it doesn’t feel good, why would you wear it? I designed Woolx around that. At Woolx, we use Ultra-Fine Australian Merino wool that feels amazing against your skin.

I’m not talking “soft for wool” soft… this is next level “I’m not taking this off” soft.

Our Merino wool is non-mulesed, meaning our sheep are raised humanely without the painful cost-cutting practices that are still common across the industry. We care as much about our sheep as we do our customers.

All of this costs significantly more than just another tee. We're okay with that.

Machine Wash, Tumble Dry, No Dry Cleaner Required

Here's what other premium brands tell you about their clothes: hand wash cold, lay flat to dry, don't put it in the dryer, dry clean only, avoid direct sunlight, store folded, not hung. Personally… I don’t have time for that.

Here's what we tell you: machine wash cold, tumble dry low. That's it.

We engineered our t-shirts to be durable enough to treat like a normal shirt. A piece of clothing that requires a 12-step care routine is a piece of clothing you won't actually wear. We made ours to live with you, not to sit in a garment bag.

For a woman who has better things to do than hand-wash wool in the sink, this is the difference between a piece you wear and a piece you resent.

We’re Real People

We're a family business. My father and I started Woolx together in 2012, but we have been in the clothing business since 1949! We run Woolx the same way my Grandpa and Dad ran the clothing store they've owned for generations. That kind of service is rare now. It's also expensive. And it's not going away.

When you call our customer success line, 888-465-7977, a real person in Endicott, New York picks up. Not a chatbot. Not a third-party service. A human being who works with our products every day and can help you with sizing or any other questions you have.

If you need to exchange something, we make it easy. If something goes wrong, we fix it.

I’ll let a Trustpilot customer speak for themselves: "Family company. Excellent quality & customer service… They are real people designing clothes for real life. Many pieces I’ve had 3+ years and are doing great.."

The Real Question

You already know quality costs money. You already know cheap clothes don't last. You've probably already filled your closet once or twice with things that seemed like a deal at the time and are now in a donation bag.

The question isn't whether Woolx is expensive. The question is whether you're ready to stop replacing clothes and start owning them.

If you are, we'd love to be the brand you buy for the rest of your life. Many of our customers have already made that decision.
